I never write reviews, but I think people should know how great of a doctor and how great of a person Dr. Shuhatovich is. After being misdiagnosed by another surgeon, Dr. Shuhatovich diagnosed the real source of the issue. He helped me avoid a serious surgery through less invasive methods and I am now healthy. He is extremely rare and does what is right no matter what.

Ii must say that Dr. Shuhatovich is an amazing surgeon. I have/had been coming here since July 2023 after tearing my right arm bicep at work. When I came into his office for the 1st time I was very scared just because I had torn my left bicep before and that surgery didn't go well. After explaining to him what I had just gone through he immediately looked at me with confidence and told me I was in good hands. My surgery went well I was able to move and wiggle my fingers and I had feeling in my arm. I must say that my recovery has been great and I have no complaints whatsoever. Dr. Shuhatovich is an amazing surgeon he loves what he does and is very compassionate. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon but most of all an amazing person. If anyone out there is in need to see an orthopedic surgeon I can honestly say I highly recommend Dr. Shuhatovich. Where do I start!!!!! Broke my distal radius rollerskating and was sent to let’s call him Dr. A. “Dr A” recommended surgery with plates and screws, but after learning about so many complications people have from plates and screws, I was hesitant. I’m very holistic minded so the idea of metal inside me didn’t sit well with me unless it was absolutely warranted. I wanted a second opinion. That’s when I found Dr Shuhatovich who came highly recommended on a FB wrist break support group. BEST DECISION EVER!!! He not only gave me the most informative, compassionate and precise care, but also told me unequivocally 1000% I did not need surgery. Now obviously some people truly do need surgery, but the point the degree and placement of my fracture DID NOT warrant a surgery. After my husband and I met with this doctor and he explained everything to us right down to the details, we chose to ditch the first surgeon and trust Dr. Shuhatovich and OMG- let me tell you- we could not have made it better move! I’m now 11 weeks post injury and healing wonderfully. I am immensely grateful to Dr Shuhatovich for his exceptional care. This doctor is THE REAL DEAL. Anyhow would be blessed to have him as their doctor.

Dr. SHUHATOVICH Has been ABSOLUTELY GOD SENT. OUR EXPERIENCE through this process was tough but the information and care was precise.

Dr. Shuhatovich is one of the best hand surgeons out there. I had a mass growing in my wrist for a few months. After my first visit, Dr. Shuhatovich did a great job in explaining the situation and how we needed to proceed. Within two weeks he had me scheduled to remove the mass. He is an excellent surgeon and did a fantastic job all around despite the mass being in a rather complicated location. His team is excellent as well. I frankly could not be more pleased with my experience with ROC and Dr. Shuhatovich.

The doctor was great and the nursing staff were friendly. They made the hearing process better and made sure that I was well taken care of.

Dr. Shuhatovich is an excellent doctor with fantastic "bed side manner", first I had cortisone injections in each wrist which was virtually painless, I'd had this done several times previously by other doctors with less than desirable results. Shortly thereafter he performed Carpal Tunnel surgery on both hands (one week apart from each other) with amazing success, I couldn't be happier with his performance and highly recommend this doctor and this facility!

Thank you Dr. Shuhatovich! The surgery you performed on my wrist to reattach my severed thumb tendon has yielded phenomenal results. It’s been just a little over a month but my recovery of going great. However, I’ve had a headache for that month from the ball being dropped by the personnel responsible for completing and returning my Short Term Disability paperwork and now my Return To Work Form. It took 20 days for my Short Term Disability paperwork to be completed and it was only received by the insurance company because I had to fax it to them myself. It’s now been over a week and I am still waiting on my Light Duty Return To Work Form. I understand it takes a few days for your staff to sort through, organize, complete and return all that paperwork so I don’t feel like I’m being impatient.

The office staff is friendly and welcoming, Dr Shuhatovich was/is very personable and attentive and takes the time to explain things to you. He takes the time to know you as a person not just a patient. Thankfully my injury was a simple fix, all the same he was just as thorough with my minor injury as if it was a major one, and for me it was as it affected my career. He understood that. I have already recommended him and will continue to recommend him to anyone who may need a great hand surgeon. If they allowed more than 5 stars, he has definitely earned them.

Dr. Shuhatovich is a great doctor. He’s personable, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. You can tell he is passionate about what he does. I went to him for a second opinion as I was so nervous about having surgery to correct a spiral fracture in my pinky and wanted to be sure I got the best care possible. I immediately knew he was the right doctor for me and was all set to have surgery with him but at the last minute (against my better judgment), I ended up changing doctors based on a dear friend’s recommendation. In this area, it helps to have personal recommendations but what I also learned is that doesn’t always mean you’ll get the best care. Ultimately, I’m not happy with the outcome from the other doctor nor his response to my unhappiness and could only wish I had gone with Dr. Shuhatovich. I just knew in my heart of hearts he was the right doctor for me and wish I had chose differently. ??

Got some testing done to make sure his findings where on point and got to the problem right away. Got my surgery on September 29 one week later came to remove my stitches. I had experienced a traumatic fall in 12/25, which resulted in a broken hand and two dislocations within that same hand. Dr Shuhatovich has stepped in and took over. My surgery was intense but I had since been healing amazingly. He has great bedside manners and truly care. I’m beyond grateful for him to be my surgeon.

Absolutely the best hand surgeon I know. He recognized there was more of a problem then the other hand Dr did and sent me to the Doctor Who checked my nerves in my arm and found that I had nerve damage in my hand and my nerve in my arm my finger right ring, finger and little finger or damaged, probably won’t ever work again, but he did the surgery so fast I went in there Monday for the results and Wednesday he had me in the hospital doing the surgery. He really cared about it if you need to go to a hand surgeon for any reason please give Dr. Slavich a try sorry spellcheck did not get his name right and I don’t know. Remember how to spell it

He's a wonderful hand surgeon! He was kind, patient and gentle with me all throughout. He managed to bring me a full recovery from debilitating CRPS type 2 caused by carpal tunnel. The results are staggering. Highly recommend! EDIT: I had severe complications due to ulnar nerve entrapment. When other doctors refused to treat me because I can't get an EMG, Dr. Shuhatovich alone believed me and took me to surgery without it. He was right! He accomodated my special needs when I seriously needed it the most. Extremely grateful to be this doctor's patient.

I had surgery to remove a ganglion cyst, and I’m honestly so happy with my experience. From the surgery itself to the recovery, everything went so smoothly. I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure and had no discomfort afterward. My recovery was very fast — I was healed in about three weeks. When I came back to the office to have my stitches removed, it was done so gently and easily that I didn’t feel anything at all. Now my hand feels great, and I’m back to my normal daily life with no issues. I’m truly grateful to the doctor for the amazing care and professionalism. Highly recommend

The administrative staff was friendly, professional and efficient. The medical tech was friendly and informative. Dr.Shuhatovich was also very personable, explained the trigger finger issue and his suggested treatment. He told me the procedure would be quick and it is effective in about 90% of instances. My symptoms were better overnight and gone in a couple of days. Great experience. Would not hesitate to return if a need was to occur!
