Vijaiganesh Nagarajan, MD, FACP, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI

Dr. Vijaiganesh Nagarajan, known as Dr. VJ, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist providing expert care at our Telfair clinic in Sugar Land, TX. He brings extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care, supported by multiple board certifications in cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and RPVI.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. VJ serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas, Houston, where he is actively involved in educating and mentoring the next generation of physicians. His dedication to excellence in teaching has been recognized with several awards, including the Student Teaching Award and the Mulholland Resident and Fellow Teaching Award.

Dr. VJ has received accolades for his clinical skills and compassionate approach, including the Clinical Skills and Scholarship Best Resident Award and the Humanitarian Resident Award. He is also a dedicated medical researcher with over 25 peer-reviewed publications, multiple book chapters, and recognition from organizations such as the American Heart Association, which honored him with the Young Investigator Award.

An active member of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology, Dr. VJ remains at the forefront of cardiology by integrating emerging technologies, including generative AI, to advance patient care.
