Samir Ouais, MD

Dr. Ouais is an excellent endocrinologist. My previous doctor had prescribed much too low of a dose of thyroid meds, which he immediately recognized before even getting my labwork back. Additionally, he ordered a neck ultrasound which I had not had in years after having thyroid cancer in 1998. It was a nice reassurance that Dr. Ouais was putting my health first and being thorough. I also really appreciate the time he takes to understand my other health issues in order to treat me as a whole patient. His nurse and staff are awesome as well, and I love having a Quest lab in the office, so I don’t have to go to another location for tests. Thank you Dr. Ouais for excellent care.

Dr Ouais is an amazing doctor and person. Really took the time to listen to me and everything that has been going on. Really patient with me, great bedside manners. And made sure to develop some kind of plan to figure out what was going on.

Dr. Samir was very knowledgeable. He listened to my story and asked lots of questions. I have had a lot of health issues, and other doctors rarely take the time to truly understand and make connections. In Dr. Samir’s care, I feel like I’m on the right track again with my thyroid and my health.

Tatiana was GREAT. When there is no communication it can leave room for misunderstandings. I appreciate her call and thoroughly going over how this particular office does things and I'm grateful.

Dr. Ouais and his staff was thorough, he was patient and explained things without making me feel like I didn't understand. He was nice and welcoming and I'm happy I selected him as a provider.

Nurse Merlin was great

I liked that Dr. Ouais didn't just push medicines on me. He asked questions, and seeked to understand first. He starting me easy on the meds while also waiting on other doctors orders and meds.

Dr. Ouais was great! Very attentive and very much concerned. He is very fast and I wasn’t there long like most doctors offices. I see him again in 3 weeks and I’m excited to see what he can help me with for as my diabetes. He is not familiar with transgender care, but he promised me he’ll treat me until he finds me another endocrinologist that’s familiar with transgender care and hormones. Very great doctor and I am happy I found him.

"Dr. Samir is so sincere, thoughtful, carinjg, and KNOWLEDGEABLE. He did order thorough blood work and carefully read the results to give me medical advice. He asked great questions about my past medical history that connect to my current medical issues. He truly touched my heart wanting to help me with referrals to other doctors that could help me with the "" domino effect "" that my difficulties walking have lead to other problems. EVERYONE was amazing!! My 1st first was easy peasy.

First time seeing this endocrinologist the entire staff and he were compassionate and kind. He also pushed my treatment further in 2 distinct ways that had not been recommended by any other endocrinologist and I have seen this specialty for many years. I am confident that my health will be much better controlled now!
