I took my uncle for BPH ( enlarged prostate ) to Dr.Dhir. He operated on him and I would say Dr. Dhir is best urologist in houston. Entire procedure from quality examination to post surgery follow up was smooth and great...Highly recommended !!

First visit for a new patient. Front desk was friendly and efficient with a pleasant demeanor.. The staff, as I went though all the preliminary items required to assess a new patient, conducted themselves in a professional yet empathetic manner. Dr. Dhir listened to me and addressed my concerns in easily understood language. I did not feel rushed or minimized in any way. Very impressive Dr. and staff. By the time I returned to my home the Patient Portal my appointments were already posted and visible. This is an impressive operation.

I have been having prostate symptoms for a couple of weeks and finally needed to be seen. I made the appointment with Dr. Dhir's office online at 3AM and had the appointment for 11:30AM the same day. Staff were all very kind and efficient. Dr. Dhir did not make me wait and he knew exactly what my problem was right away. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Dr. Robert Dhir is an Awesome & Caring Doctor.

I’ve seen Dr. Dhir a few times now, so allow me to tell you about my experience as one of his current patients. After I listed my symptoms, he had me do one simple test to check for hormonal imbalance - and sure enough he found the specific issue and was able to adjust this for me. He listens to every single thing - does not interrupt or rush - and he’s a nice guy. I am very sensitive to physicians and he’s one of the best I’ve been treated by as of yet - logical, kind, and data-driven. I can’t recommend him enough.

All good no waiting

I am a 72yr+ old male with prostate issues that Dr. Dhir is treating via proven meds vs more aggressive methods. He is a young but accredited urologist who is skilled, knowledgeable & is easy to talk to, thus has a good bedside manner, but a straight shooter, matter of fact, no bull kind of doctor which I prefer. The staff is good as well, both knowledgeable & professional.

Soft spoken, kind and gentle, I was skeptical about having a Cystoscope without anesthesia, but it went very well and painless.

My mother has been having recurring urinary problems in the last couple of years, Dr. Dhir has been able to look over her medical history to help us get to the core issue. He has prescribed medications that helped my mom get back to recovering from these frustrating and uncomfortable symptoms that were happening too often. As an elderly person with diabetes, she is more prone to these urinary problems. We are very grateful for his help! Would definitely recommend him to our friends and family.

Dr Dhir is awesome! He listens to me and answers all of my questions making me feel like I’m his only patient, even when he is busy. He is aggressive in finding problems but conservative on running to surgery. Officer staff is also very kind, well versed in what patents need, and well prepared. The combination makes Dr Dhir’s practice exceptional and patient focused.

Dr. Dhir is kind, informative and professional!! He was the second urologist I went to after being told I had a giant kidney stone that would need to be removed surgically. The first urologist told me there was no other option than to cut a hole in my back and then a hole in my kidney to get the stone out and didn't even talk with me about it for a full 5 minutes. I was not comfortable with that or his lack of information at all so I got a second opinion and I'm SO glad I did. I told Dr. Dhir my situation and he offered me a different, less invasive solution and was very informative. He didn't leave the room without checking if I had any questions or concerns and it was an all around great experience despite the situation. 10/10 would recommend.

Update: issue below resolved professionally by office manager unlike the non professional reply on here. Thanks Everybody knows it’s all about money, did first visit on may 2019 and paid out of pocket $250 or something like that and been told follow up costs $95, today called in for another appointment and because they didn’t update their system so considered as new patient and have to pay another $250 and $125 follow up!!! So disappointed!!! Because he moved to new location so each time Dr move to somewhere patients have to pay for that!!!

Dr. Dhir and his team have always been helpful and do respond to your phone calls if needed. I had an urgent issue that I needed him to look at and they got me in the next day. I can’t say that for other Dr. Offices with CLS. Dr. Dhir is thorough and communicates well.

Dr. Dhir is a skilled and caring physician who communicates issues clearly, understandably and when necessary compassionately, like an unwanted cancer diagnosis. He also respects patients’ time better than most doctors. I have never waited more than a few minutes past an appointment time to be welcomed in. I found him years ago based on a recommendation from my GP/PCP and she told me he also treats her spouse.
