Prathyusha Savjani, MD

Dr. Prathyusha Savjani is a board-certified adult and pediatric allergist and immunologist practicing in Houston Heights, where she is committed to delivering allergy and immunology care the way it should be—rooted in science, guided by experience, and personalized for each patient. She combines over a decade of clinical expertise with a passion for evidence-based medicine, ensuring every recommendation is grounded in the latest research and best practices.

Dr. Savjani prioritizes clear, compassionate communication and takes the time to make sure patients understand their diagnoses and treatment plans. Her approach to allergy and immunology is thorough, thoughtful, and modern—balancing clinical precision with a deep understanding of how allergies and immune conditions impact daily life.

She earned her degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans. She has cared for diverse patient populations across New Orleans, Manhattan, and Houston since earning her medical degree in 2011.

Her clinical interests include pediatric food allergy, asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, sinus disease, urticaria, angioedema, anaphylaxis, immune deficiency, and much more. She practices the full scope of her specialty, treating patients of all ages with conditions ranging from common environmental allergies to complex immune and hypersensitivity disorders.

Dr. Savjani makes every effort to accommodate urgent needs, offering appointments within days—or even same-day when possible. Her practice is designed for convenience and accessibility, with flexible hours to fit busy schedules.

A proud Houston Heights resident, Dr. Savjani is married and the mom of two young sons. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, vegetarian cooking, and spending time with her family.
