First of all I never write reviews but I just have to put this out there. I have read a few negative reviews and could not disagree more. Not to discredit others experience but it was defiantly not the same experience that I have had. I lost my vision in my right eye a week ago. I have seen 7 Dr over this course. Everyone kind of made me feel that this would return and didn't really seem too bothered by a 34 year old women spontaneously losing vision. Dr. Kahlil immediately knew what was going on and started me immediately on steroid infusion. Round 2 of my infusion and my vision has made a 90% recovery. I am forever grateful for Dr. Kahlil taking the time to actually listen to me and treating me appropriately.

Nicely run practice from the reception to the examination room. Dr Khalil is very good with his patients, listens to you and seems to really care about you getting better.

His incredible intelligence, extensive background, and ongoing research enable him to synthesize patient and lab/imaging details, figure out next steps, and understand the overall situation. He knows what he is doing and researches when diagnosis is elusive. He cares. His support staff make sure I always leave with any lab or imaging request paperwork, have imaging reports ready, and help set up next visits. They, too, make me feel welcome. Dr. Khalil and his team have gone above and beyond to diagnose and start the appropriate treatment. Upon getting an accurate diagnosis for the autoimmune issues I was experiencing, the steroid injections helped, the IVIg infusions were what really made the difference. The infusions were like magic! They helped with the weakness, the numbness, the pain, I noticed my cough and sneezes were stronger. My gut issues got better. I have suffered for so long enduring treatments that partially helped, but not completely. This is the first time in 17yrs I have had such relief. While the initial diagnosis was scary, Dr. Khalil and his team have been there every step of the way.

"This is a mixed review, so please read in its entirety to understand the full context. Background: My teenage daughter began experiencing mild lower back pain just after Thanksgiving 2023. We initially dismissed it as her probably lifting something wrong/too heavy or sleeping on rough surfaces at a recent camping trip. By Christmas 2023 she began having shooting pains down both legs, along with tingling sensations, and losing strength in her left leg. The next week her left leg went numb from mid-thigh down to her toes and she was admitted to a hospital for a week of testing and assessments from a range of specialists. The attending Neurologist, Dr. Desai, recommended following up with Dr. Khalil after discharge and so we did. Dr. Khalil (5-stars): We were able to secure a new patient appointment within a month (late January 2024) of discharge from the hospital. Dr. Khalil conducted a brief, but thorough, assessment and identified a diagnosis of MMN, Multifocal Motor Neuropathy, and immediately ordered an EMG (nerve conductivity test), MRI, bloodwork and physical therapy. He also explained that the only treatment was IVIG infusion therapy and that my daughter needed it to begin urgently. He clearly conveyed this urgency to his nurse and supporting staff. Follow-ups with Dr. Khalil have been frequent between January and July 2024. Although each of the follow ups were brief, they were generally positive in nature and confirmed that my daughter’s condition was in fact improving as a result of the ongoing IVIG infusion therapy. My daughter finished the prescribed IVIG therapy mid-July 2024 and at her latest follow up she demonstrated full motor (strength) recovery, full sensory recovery and significantly reduced back pain. Dr. Khalil’s accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment plan helped return my daughter’s health and abilities back to normal, and we couldn’t be more thankful. Office Staff, Scheduling, Answering/Returning Calls and Wait Times (2-stars): Unfortunately, Dr. Khalil’s office staff leave a lot to be desired. One of the two ladies at the front desk was always pleasant to deal with, but the other not so much. On several occasions, the nurses didn’t follow through with Dr. Khalil’s prior urgent requests and had to be reminded and/or asked again to process something. Scheduling appointments can be quite challenging, but this is likely a result of the patient demand on Dr. Khalil’s time. Getting someone to either answer a call, or to simply return a call/voicemail is nearly impossible. There were multiple times where I would simply show up at their office to get an answer/action to occur after a couple of days of not being able to reach them by phone or having them not yet return my call. The delay was always blamed on ""waiting for...,"" which I find difficult to take/believe given the frequent/common occurrences. Lastly, wait times are excessive. The quickest we ever were brought back to the exam room was usually 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment but was at its worst was two hours past our scheduled appointment. The ""norm"" was usually at least an hour past our appointment time. Summary: All in all, how do you put a value on having your child’s health restored after 8 months? Dr. Khalil was instrumental in that success, and I would highly recommend him without hesitation. However, be forewarned that there will be challenges and frustrations along the way. In the end, I would go through it all again for the sake of my daughter."

Dr Khalil has been my Dr. for a few+yrs now. I am so grateful for him he has been such a compassionate and caring Dr. always there for whatever treatment is required. Recently I was given a series of injections for back pain, protruding disc’s and also for my knee which is bone on bone. I am awaiting surgery for my knee so he’s making me as comfortable as possible. I am so grateful for him.

I came to Dr. Khalil at the Neurology Clinic at CLS Health as a second opinion after not receiving adequate care following a concussion that I sustained on 8/18/22. For 3 weeks I experienced severe migraines, nausea, dizziness, double vision, light sensitivity, anxiety/paranoia and hallucinations that continued to progress despite multiple lines of therapy prescribed by my initial treating physician. I was seen by Dr. Khalil and his nurse practitioner Jayme Durbin who performed a thorough and extensive physical assessment and were able to get the ball rolling on my care. Dr. Khalil performed an occipital nerve block during my initial appointment which almost instantly resolved my headache that I had been having for days. After about 24-48 hours my dizziness, double vision, ringing in my ears resolved. I am so grateful for the expedited and patient centered care.

Dr. Khalil is the best!! The entire staff are warm & friendly. There facility is clean & well maintained. Dr. Khalil is the kindest sincere doctor who takes his time. The steroid injections he put in my calves for the neuropathy in my feet lasted for about 9 months. I'm 51 yrs old and very active. Other doctors had me on all types of meds that kill you from the inside out, that somewhat eased the pain. I'd been dealing with this for 13 yrs or so. The shots took the pain from a 10 down to a 2 I'd say. Absolutely recommend it to everyone before starting any medication regime for neuropathy. Dr. Kahlil is a miracle worker in my book!! If I'd only known it was this easy! Thank Dr. Kahlil & staff!

For 20+ years I have been dealing with chronic pain. I have seen many doctors mostly neurologist. They have tested me for every possible disease & disorder. Finally I found Dr. Khalil at Clear Lake Speciality. He did some testing and diagnosed CIDP (Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy ). He suggested I take infusions called IVIG. I started the infusions for 2 days/3-4 hrs per day every 3 weeks. By the end of 4+ months I can honestly say I feel clear of pain. I am off two medications for pain control after all this time. Miracle? May not seem to be for you but as the individual who has been in pain so long it does seem like a miracle to me. Thank you Dr. Kahlil & Jayme Durban. Ed Hubbard.

I was taking him back to the room at about 220 and shortly after the doctors came to see me probably about 20 minutes after Nurse finished up with me, which wasn’t long at all for me, somebody who suffers from anxiety doctor. I am so very thankful for Dr.Khalil. He has made such a positive and profound impact on my quality of life. Being a migraine warrior is not easy and he has listened and adjusted medications to meet the needs of my pain and improve so much that I am beginning to have more and more Migraine free days. Dr Khalil is so awesome. My father in law has been to 3 different Neurologist and on the first visit, just by looking at him and listening to his symptoms, he knew what was wrong and what he needed to do to treat him. My father in law is able to get around so much better now.

Visited for a follow up. Exam was precise and I was able to proceed to do blood work within 30 min at Quest and additional testing scheduled the next day. Requested prescription refill that was done same day. Will review test results with Dr Khalil and evaluate my progress. All good!

Dr. Khalil is a caring dedicated neurologist! His knowledge is impeccable and second to none! He asks why you came and then begins examining and giving tests to assess the concerns and issues. Then he quickly places imaging orders and lab work orders and physical therapy. I will go back to see him to find out the results of the imaging test and the treatment needed to address the findings. I went back for results. Now he will administer treatment after authorization from insurance. He also wants to do another test in 6 months to see if any changes have taken place. Nurse Angelica was friendly and greeted us with a smile and made copies of the results of all the tests I had done. I have been a patient for Dr. Khalil for over four weeks. I came in with loss of motor sensation on both my arms. Dr. Khalil IMMEDIATELY knew the problem after seeing a coterie of other doctors. He effectively managed me and realized I had a cervical spine injury that were causing my pain/motor loss. I have recovered ever since. THANK YOU DOCTOR KHALIL!!!

Professional, therapist, Caring.

Dr. Khalil is a truly amazing neurologist. I came to see him after my stroke back in '24. He sent me to TIRR for rehab and after the first of this year, I started to decline including extreme weight loss, more cognitive issues and losing mobility. He performed several tests including EEG, EMG, MRI and CT's along with numerous labs. I tested positive for an autoimmune disorder. He then referred me to have an lumbar puncture and scheduled a skin biopsy. Around 24 hours after the lumbar puncture, my cognitive state improved greatly. Upon hearing the positive results, Dr. Khalil is now referring me to a neurosurgeon in order to have a shunt placed as I also have NPH (normal pressure hydrocephalus). He is very thorough with his testing to find out what is causing all of your issues. I highly recommend Dr. Khalil as a neurologist who will listen, test and treat to help you become better.

I’ve been with Dr Khalil now going on over 2 years now. He started me over Ocrevus for my MS which has helped. But for my neuropathic pains (CIDP) he started me on IVIG every three weeks. Oh my gosh it has made such a big difference. Along with me going into pressure socks and braces for my foot drop. My pain level has went from a 8-9 down to some days 2-3 but if I’m having a bad day a 4. I can handle that. Thank you so much Dr Khalil you care so much for your patients.

I started seeing Dr. after a tumor was cut off my Carodid artery . Only one Dr. would do my Surgery that was Dr. Gordon Martain of SE Herman Memorial . This was done in the middle of COVID. I had no voice. My vocal cord was parilized. Dr. Martin office Set me up to See a cardiologist., and also set up all other Dr I needed. Dr. Khalil and his staff Set up a plan to get me started. I weighed 200 lbs, went in on a wall took me 15 min to get from lobby to his office. I was in such bad shape . He always gave me hope. I stuck with the program. It was hard. It was exhausting. I had memory loss, dropped everything I tried to carry. Could not write, or total my check book. 3 years of hard work. Through the grace of God., the help or Dr Khalil and his fantastic staff. I can do it all. Im not 100%. But at 80+ percent. Im crying right now because he has become my angel. Im now at 140 Ib's I can walk, I ca talk, Sing, wich is a mirical in its self. The nerve damage is restoring , the treatments work in there time. Be patient. Do the work. It can heal you.

We can not even begin to thank the Doctor. He has been mainly my husband’ s physician. My husband has neuropathy, diabetes, NPH , dementia and now Alzheimer. He started him on an infusion for his neuropathy. The difference is unbelievable. It helped his walking, balance and improved strength so much in his hands. Prior to this he was almost unable to walk. With this treatment he didn’t need his walker nor me pushing his wheel chair. The Doctor has treated him for other than infusion and it has been all around improvement. I was having health issues and he tested several areas for me. He discovered that my left carotid artery was 80% blocked. I had surgery ASAP and the doctors were amazed that Dr. Khalil discovered this issue. I was told this usually discovered after a stroke. I recently received notice from insurance that this doctor is no longer in network. I am absolutely heartbroken and unable to find another neurologist that prescribes infusion. We definitely recommend him. Thank you, Doctor.

Dr. Khalil is a very compassionate person and excellent doctor. He was the only one, able and capable of helping me with my debilitating migraine. I wasn't able to see any lights, and at top of it, because my covid, I developed a neurological phantom smell that triggered my migraine, and the migraine was triggering my phantom smell it was a horrible circle to live in. Dr. Khalil, after a series of tests, was the only doctor who gave me the right medications. Now, I have a much better quality of life thanks to him. I recommend Dr. Khalil ??

My experience has been nothing but positive with all of his staff and him during the nearly three years that I’ve been his patient. He has a very busy schedule and more than likely you will have to wait. I had go get an EMG done to determine if I had carpal tunnel or not, I had been very stressed and in pain the past few weeks but the office staff took great care of me. Especially the EMG tech that made me feel very comfortable and at home throughout the entire process. She was the best.
