Staff was welcoming, friendly, and provided simple instructions on where to go for my x-ray's. The x-ray technician was aware of my discomfort and was very gentle during the positions of the x-ray's. Dr. Monmouth is a superb orthopedic surgeon, he did my total right hip replacement five years ago, so I know I'm in the best of care .

Clear Lake Specialties is the best practice I’ve experienced, and I’m 71. I just returned from an appointment with Dr Monmouth, the surgeon who repaired my broken hip. He did an excellent job, and it’s all healed, now. My PCP is Dr Tammi Peck, whom I’ve seen for the past ten years. Dr Moustafa Ahmed is my pain management doctor, and he’s the best I’ve been to, and I don’t trust anyone else with my rather complicated spine. My cardiologist, Dr Samaan who joined them recently, or will, is amazing, and I would trust no one else. Altogether, CLS doctors are kind, compassionate, and extraordinarily competent & caring. I’d recommend them to anyone I know.

Dr Monmouth is great! Yes, be prepared to wait but it’s worth it. He spends time with you like your his only patient. It took us a month to get into see him. He asked us why it took so long to get in and I explained it was the earliest appointment. He doesn’t realize it takes that long.

Dr Michael Monmouth is a very caring, very professional, concerned physician who is well respected by his staff and peers. He takes the time to answer all questions concerning your health condition. He doesn’t rush you through your appointments, he treats his patients like they are his priority and not just an insurance payment. But most of all, he is an excellent surgeon! I’ve had 3- very successful surgery’s all preformed by Dr Monmouth. “Ten Stars!”

8 hours before surgery was canceled nurse told me insurance would not approve it insurance told me they never requested surgery the doctor told me to stoop some of my Rx a week before surgery I went and did blood work and a list of what Rx to stop then they called about 4:45 in the afternoon to say they couldn’t get an approval but insurance said they never ask for an approval now I can get a straight answer from any one and can’t get past the front desk very unorganized office

Friendly helpful staff. Dr. Monmouth is very great to go to. He replaced my hip after an accident last year. I just went in for a one year follow up, everything is doing good. He takes time with you and answers all your question. All around great doctor.

Mother had been in agonizing hip pain for two weeks after E.R. Dr. determined she might need a hip replacement. We were both concerned a hip replacement at this juncture would be very difficult (mom is 83yo). Dr. Monmouth examined her and it became clear it was just bursitis. No need to replace her hip!! We were so relieved! After a steroid injection and ice directly on the spot, she is resting at home. Dr. Monmouth was kind and gentle with mom throughout the visit. I understand physicians are often rushed in their care due to insurance constraints, but Dr. Monmouth’s calm and gentle demeanor never wavered. Our most sincere gratitude!!

This was my first visit to CLS Health however I have been seeing Dr. Monmouth for many years in another healthcare network. I was extremely pleased with my first experience. The staff was very helpful during the pre-appointment phone call and was welcoming and helpful during the clinic visit. Alissa was exceptionally helpful on the phone assisting me in preparing for my knee injection appointment. As always Dr. Monmouth was awesome and is a very wonderful orthopedic doctor. I highly recommend him for any knee or hip conditions.

I was x-rayed and into my appointment time at my appointment time and I was out of the office in 30 minutes. Smooth easy to talk to great doctor great stuff.

This Dr. has been my family's ortho doctor for over 25yrs. He has performed rotator cuff surgery for my husband, neck tratments for my son, and knee treatments for me. He is an Harvard-trained doc with excellent diagnostic and surgical skills. He keeps abreast of current treatment methods and thoroughly explains what is needed to resolve a problem. He is patient and takes adequate time with his patients during office visits. I highly recommend him.

When you go to a new Doctor you never know what to expect. I was standing at the elevator with three other people. Listening to the conversation we all were going to the same Doctor. That was a good sign. When I walked into the office they spoke. When I was called to the desk they were so nice. But the Doctor made me feel so comfortable he was very professional but down to earth. He just didn’t know how nervous I was. I usually don’t respond to this. But I have went to Doctors and said I would never go back. His office is a ways from my home but I will be going back. I had a visit with CLS- Clear Lake Orthopedics Dr. Michael Monmouth. He is an excellent Harvard-trained physcian who is both compassionate and very knowledgeable. I was referred to him when he was a new ortho-surgeon over 30 yrs ago. He performed my husband rotator cuff surgery on both arms with 100% reuse success. He has been treating my knee problems and offers optional effective treatments until surgery is necessary. I highly recommend this doctor. .
