Professional Statement
Dr. Madiha Ashraf is a board-certified infectious disease specialist with over a decade of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of complex infections.
Dr. Ashraf graduated from The Aga Khan University in 2005, one of the most prestigious medical institutions in Pakistan. She completed her residency in internal medicine at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX from 2007 to 2010, followed by a fellowship in infectious diseases at The University of Houston from 2010 to 2012. She went on to serve as an Infectious Diseases consultant and Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Methodist Hospital, where she trained students from Weill Cornell University and Texas A&M, as well as residents from Methodist's own robust program.
From 2012 to 2022, Dr. Ashraf was deeply engaged in academic medicine and frontline care, including critical involvement during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was the principal investigator and co-author of two clinical studies on COVID-19 treatments involving oral favipiravir and convalescent plasma therapy.
Dr. Ashraf brings extensive clinical expertise and a commitment to evidence-based infectious disease care to CLS Health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband and three children.

I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Ashraf’s expertise, professionalism, and most of all the way she truly cares about her patients and her bedside manner is top notch. We have one of the best infectious disease MD here in Houston and that is Dr. Ashraf!

Dr. Madiha Ashraf deserves a 5* rating because she is in my GOOD doctors list. I happened to see her in the Sugar Land (Hwy 90) office after my recent hospitalization and I am glad she is seeing me. I noticed, she really cares for the patients. She works with the patient to address all health concerns. I have seen her few times, and in every visit, she listened to me patiently, clarified all my questions, ordered lab test that was necessary, discussed the test results with me in my following visit. I am very impressed with her treatment style. Honestly speaking, she is quite knowledgeable and has expertise in her area. Being a patient, what else you expect from the doctor? If you are waiting at the lobby little longer to see her, that means she is giving more time to another patient. Similarly she will also spend more time with you until you are satisfied. She has all the qualities of being a wonderful Doctor, such as listening to the patients, do right diagnosis, give good advice, prescribe right medicines.

They always go far and beyond with their service. I want to highlight Dr Ashraf's assistant Rosa. She is the best, very attentive, knowledgeable and caring. A great asset for this place.And,of course, Dr Ashraf, is the best too. Very kind,and,above all, very knowledgeable of her job.
