Karina Gonzalez, NP

Karina Gonzalez is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing comprehensive primary care at our Campbell Family Practice clinic in Houston. She brings a wide range of clinical experience to her role, with a strong background in both hospital and home health settings.

Before joining Campbell Family Practice, Karina served as a staff nurse and clinical coach at Memorial Hermann Southeast, where she cared for patients with acute and chronic illnesses and mentored new nurses. She also worked as a home health nurse with A-Med Home Health, developing personalized care plans for patients with chronic conditions. Her early career includes roles as a staff and charge nurse at Houston Methodist, a medical assistant at The Hand Center, and a laboratory technician at ExperTox.

Karina is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a licensed registered nurse in Texas. She holds current ACLS and BLS certifications and is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the UTMB School of Nursing Alumni Association, and the Texas Nurses Association. She is also a proud member of the Alpha Chi honor society. Known for her dedication to patient-centered care, Karina is committed to improving the health and well-being of the Houston community.
