Jihad Harmouche, MD

Dr. Jihad Harmouche is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in women’s health. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center, where he received comprehensive training across all aspects of women’s reproductive health.

Throughout his medical career, Dr. Harmouche has been recognized with multiple prestigious awards and scholarships for his academic excellence, teaching, research, and commitment to global health. These honors include the Golden Apple Teaching Award, Herzog Scholarship, Thompson Scholarship for International Health, Albert Schweitzer Osler Society Global Health Scholarship, and the Jack Smith Scholarship for best behavioral research proposal. He also received the Cell Signaling Award at the Regional Undergraduate Research Symposium.

Dr. Harmouche is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society at the University of Houston and was awarded the Houston-Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Scholarship for his work in supporting academic success among minority students. He brings a compassionate, research-informed approach to care and is committed to improving the health and well-being of every patient he serves.
