I became a patient of Dr. Khan about 5 years ago while he was with UTMB. He performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes several years ago and I have been so pleased with the results. Dr. Khan is very attentive and spends time answering my questions. I have recommended him to many friends.

I was hesitant to have my cataract surgery done and waited for years. After getting to know Dr. Humair Khan, his professionalism, skill, kindness and gentleness gave me full confidence. I decided to have both of my cataract surgeries done with Dr. Khan. I felt completely at ease during the surgeries. My vision has been excellent since. I am very thankful for Dr. Khan and highly recommend him.

I had an appointment today at this clinic and the experience was amazing. All the staff is very friendly and accommodating especially nurse Laura she is very kind and knowledgeable and very caring.

My husband is in a wheelchair and unable to transfer to an exam chair but rather than turn us away, every effort was made to accommodate him. That is worth gold! The doc did the exam, made a diagnosis and scheduled a laser appointment for the next week. The staff is so nice and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice.

Amazing doctor. First time going and it was easy and simple. Did take an hour overall for the appointment but that's understandable. Doctor introduced himself in a professional manner, while examining my eyes he assured everything was okay, doctor also turned the TV on and illustrated to me what was going on with my eyes and made sure I understood it. Dr. Khan completed bilateral cataract surgeries for me over the past 2 years. My vision is so improved that my optometrist is actually jealous. You will not find a more compassionate, intelligent physician who is also a brilliant surgical technician. The stress of my husband’s death caused me vision problems, I suddenly could just not see any more & not even to drive, I became legally blind. My family drove me to & from my appointments. I was devastated after having so many sudden changes in my life. After having surgery in both of my eyes at the hands of Dr. Kumair Kahn, Praise the Lord, I can see again from both eyes & I can drive & continue on with my life as normal. Dr. Kahn has performed a miracle in my life & I know he can do it for you to. I highly recommend him to everyone. When I met Doctor Khan for the first time he introduced himself, he told me a little about his background and where he came from and he went over my situation with me. I mean he was fantastic. He was great. I asked him oh my God where have you been all my life he was great he was fantastic. I tell anybodyif you need an eye doctor. if you need an eye doctor doctor.Khan is the eye doctor for you? I picked up a couple of his cards. I told him that I would be passing him out. Because I know my family members need eye doctors and I talk to them about him and how great he was and what insurance he took Because I used to work at a hospital doing insurance billing and coding so I know What insurance he takes but he’s fantastic. I love him. He’s a great doctor.

Dr. Khan removed cataracts from both eyes within the past month. He is obviously super knowledgeable, and practiced at explaining all things related to the eye and the procedure. This, and his confidence bodes well for easing any anxieties about the surgery. I have 20/25 vision now in one eye and 20/30 in the other. No longer need glasses for distance and I’ve worn them since third grade. Amazing! I would be remiss if I didn’t give kudos to his office staff! Very helpful with sudden change to an appointment and overall with several visits.

When I tell you I feel so safe with him when he relocated I followed him. I had a very bad health scare?? God an him brung me.. I had a bad infection in my cornea I lost 80% of it. The risk was so high of me losing my eye, but he turned all that around. I was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks. he’s so patient and detailed it’s like a nurturing love you feel from a parent. An he is a very sweet humble person he’s not a rush u out the way type of person he take as long as time needs to make u feel comfortable or what’s need to be done. He is the perfect role model for what it’s means to be. As a patient u can tell he is passionate about what he does an KNOWS ??what he is doing. My confidence was discouraged self-esteem had dropped, but every time he came in the room or we chatted he always gave me confidence again I was a wreck beating myself up feeling like I was deformed or I will never be normal in my eye again and I thank ??????you so much Dr Khan

Today 3/17/25 This is my first time there at your clinic I followed Dr Khan from UTMB that should tell you what a good doctor he is.He is such a patient and caring doctor and he listens to your concerns and doesn’t rush you out or talks down. Like certain doctors do. Your clinic is so beautiful and so is your staff and it’s very convenient for me….Today 5/20/25 I had a visit for a follow up visit not knowing he plan to do laser on my left eye and try and remove the big floater I have on my right eye and my eyes got dilated I wasn’t prepared for all that I got a little nervous but I’m in good Hands of Dr Khan I trust him because he’s so patient, and caring, There’s not many doctors like That.
