This was my first appointment with Dr Samman. It was a great visit from the front counter to seeing the doctor. Everyone is very polite, kind and helpful.

I don’t have any issues.

exceptional staff courtesy. Had late appointments so I didn't have to miss work. Dr. Samman listened, asked me questions. Gave his opinion but wanted to confirm with testing. Very comfortable with him.

Been a patient since September 2009 when I had my first heart attack. Dr Sammon and his staff have been OUTSTANDING/EXCELLENT. His hospital FOLLOWUP is the best. He is very personable and has a good sense of humor; sincerely cares about his patients.

Dr Samman Is a great Dr got my blood pressure under control after one visit and one call, I spent thousands of dollars on unnecessary test and went through hell trying dozens of meds seeing other cardiologists and Drs ,only complaints I have are it sometimes takes days for call backs(not always) and once the medication that has got my Blood pressure under control ( Benicar) ran out the insurance does not want to pay for they will only provide the generic which does not work! I have ask Dr Samman to file an appeal back in June this was apparently not done although the automatic refills line was called and denied the Benicar ,this is not the proper way to go about it getting a medicine approved a written appeal needs filed! I hope the staff take care of this otherwise I will be stuck with High Blood pressure I am not going to torture myself trying more meds with all of the horrible side effects!!! Insurance companies are the Devil!! IMO

Dr. Samman is a wonderful doctor! Once you get to know him (I've been seeing him for years), he becomes more friendly and caring toward you as a person, not just another patient. I have never really had any issues with staff until recently. I tend to agree with some of the reviews posted on here. Dr.Samman recently lost a wonderful M.A. (Hailey) and seems to be having a problem replacing her. It seems to take an act of congress to get through to anybody in the office or to get a call back! His office staff didn't even call me to tell me my surgery and pre op had been scheduled! The hospital called to confirm my appointment and that is how I found out. I feel bad for Dr. Samman because his last MA was always on top of everthing! I miss her and I'm sure he does too! I suggest that we all approach the doctor about the issues with his office staff. I did and I assure you, action was taken on one issue ,but I am still having issues getting calls back or getting through to a person.

Dr Samman is the BEST. He treated my husband for many years and now I am his patient. I highly recommend him!

My husband and I both use Dr. Samman. He’s a very compassionate, caring doctor who takes his time and listens to your concerns and answers all questions so you can understand what he will do and how, etc. We have used Dr. Samman for years and he has performed many procedures on my husband. We would NEVER consider using any other cardiologist. He is THE BEST that we have been referred to throughout the years.

Dr. Samman has been my and my husband's cardiologist for years. We trust him completely. He is always there for us. He answers our questions so we can understand the issue and he always has a good plan for us to follow to take care of the issue. His office staff is always willing to help also. He is very professional and yet very personable. We're not just numbers in a computer we are people and treated as such. He is always on top of our treatments.

Dr Samman has been my Doctor since 2009. I have known him and his staff to be extremely professional, caring and respectful.

Dr Samman is one of if not the best in south Texas. His staff are extremely knowledgable and have excellent people skills. If you or your family need a cardiologist, this is the place you want to be. Facility is state of the arc and you would be receiving care from an award winning cardiologist. All I can do is restate my original assessment of Dr Samman. If you want the best then Dr Samman should be your choice. I had another visit and all remains the best.

Dr. Samman saved my life. He detected an issue on my stress test and from there he found the blockages that would have killed me. Two years post surgery and everything is going well.

Dr Samman is awesome!! I am a retired nurse. My nursing friend told me about Dr Samman many years ago. My husband and myself both are his patients. I wouldn't trust another heart doctor. He is the best!!!

Dr. Sammam is great. He listens to all your questions and concerns and doesn’t rush. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he really cares about his patients and loves his job.

If you are scheduled for your annual please do not schedule on a Wednesday. This day is for stress testing and all others. Very, very busy!

Dr.Samman saved my life on multiple occasions. I don’t trust any other cardiologist. Two of them let me die after months of suffering from chest pain. Literally! I am alive thanks to Dr. Samman and the Friendswood EMS.

Dr. Samman is the best. He’s attentive and concerned about your health but he doesn’t try to push you to have tests done unless absolutely necessary. He explains your health concerns in an elementary manner that even a child can comprehend.

Dr. Samman has cared for my mom (Delores Ferry) for years! He is an excellent doctor who truly cares for his patients. I fully trust him with my mother’s life. And, will trust him with mine, if need be. I cannot recommend Dr. Samman enough! I’m sorry there were a few low stars (that appear to not even have seen or been his patients) that caused his overall score to be lowered. Trust me...he’s a full 5 stars!

Dr. Samman has always seemed very caring and competent. If I had a complaint it would be his paperwork protocols could use some enhancement. A recent surgery release took several weeks and should have been handled in much less time. Other than that. no complaints.

Great health care through a great provider

Dr. Samman doesn't beat around the bush. He'll tell you how the cow ate the cabbage. He's put three stents in me and saved my life each time. A man of few words. All action. Why? Because he has a ton of patients that rely on him. He can't stand around chatting. He has to move fast. And he does. He has a ton of patients because he's superb. He's been fantastic for me for nine years and I haven't second-guessed any decision he has conveyed to me. Two thumbs way up. Thanks, Doc!

Got to appt. Took me right in and went thru the work-up fast and easy. When they were completed, Dr. Samman came in within 5 minutes. Check up went fast and efficiently. Not any problems at all. All staff are super nice and courteous. And I really appreciated them not talking down to me like I've heard other nurses do by calling you sweetie or pumpkin or deary. All around great job.

I have been under Dr Sammon care for 4 years. I feel he is very knowledgeable and shows compassion and concern for my care. I recently had a cardiac cath done which resulted in me getting a stent put in this was my third cardiac Cath.This is my first stent upon going to seeing him after having the surgery Dr Sammon with his caring and compassion for my care. Look me in the eyes and told me you had 90% blockage, if he hadn’t been so compassionate enough to tell me how important it was to have this catheterization done I would not be here today.

I had a 99% blockage in my main artery and Dr. Samman was on call when I went to the ER. He was able to put a stent in the same day and I went home 2 days later. This was in 2012 and I have not had any more problems. Dr. Samman and his office staff have always been very sweet to me. I have never had any problems with them. He gets 5 stars from me.

I met Dr Samman at an Emergency ER where test showed I had an issue. He immediately had me sent to a hospital where, the next day, he found I had a 90% blockage in my ‘widow maker’! After a few stents and some time, I feel 20 years younger! He was all business initially, but now I have finally been able to get him to smile once in a while during visits!
