I’ve gone to Dr. Abreo since 1998. He’s been great for my wife and I both. He is thorough and explains everything well. He cured my heart palpitations my adjusting my blood pressure meds which had been prescribed by my General MD.

I have been with Southeast Houston cardiology (Dr Abreo) since 2003. I have nothing but the highest praise for Dr Abreo and Southeast. He, in particular, has kept me alive and going, with his personal hands on care as well as his referral to a specialist when needed. Dr. Abreo will not needlessly send you for any tests unless you truly need them. He hasn’t missed the target with me in that respect, not even once in the 22 years I have been under his care. I would not hesitate at all, to refer people to him, and Southeast. As a matter of fact, I have directed several people to them and all who have gone to them have been nothing but pleased. At least a 6 star rating!!!

I have been visiting Dr Abreo for many years, and I won't stop until I can't. I had a fainting episode in the middle of the night. He made me his first patient to use their new test that confirmed I have a condition he knew how to treat. Since then he doesn't waste patient or insurance money by calling for tests that others use as ways to increase their companies' revenue. I am in fine condition with his help.

I had a good experience with my first visit. Office staff is friendly and efficient. I didn’t wait very long to see Dr Abreo. He is very friendly, kind, and personable. He gave me a thorough evaluation and explained my problem in terms that I could understand. I was very nervous but his kind disposition put me at ease.

I always get an appointment for the following year when I leave. All the staff is friendly as is Dr Abreo. On my first visit he ordered 3 tests that all had good results. He even called to let me know. I presently don't have any heart problems per se, good cholesterol, blood pressure etc. so my visits are not long but I like the yearly visit. I have friends that see him and a brother that did. I would recommend him.

I had a great experience with the office and especially the doctor. Great bedside manner. Appears to actually want to help you. Not perfect score just because I heard two different patients complain about communication problems. My visit was great.

I am actually posting for my husband who is the patient. Dr. Abreo is fantastic. HOWEVER - if he prescribes a medicine don’t expect the staff to call it in to the pharmacy for two to three days. Don’t try calling the office because you will get the answering machine. You will leave messages but never receive a call back. This will go on for 2-3 days and eventually they will call the prescription in. And no - it’s not the pharmacy’s fault because they never receive the prescription fax. If anyone in the office reads this text could you have the proper person call the patient John Ivy so he can get his prescription filled

The staff is great too, and the same people are in that office for many years. If people were not happy working here, they'd have had a much bigger turnover! I scheduled my appointment for first one. For test. I got here early and reminded them I had to be gone by 10.30... it's almost 9.30 now and they have not started anything. Very disorganized.. how can u be delayed when the first person is here.. ridiculous.... Update.. ultimately got me in and was nice.. it is just frustrating when OUR time is not valued

Since I've been seeing Dr. Abreo, my life has been quite a roller coaster ride. Even when I was hospitalized with flesh eating bacteria in 2016, he visited me and prayed for my recovery. Not only is he an excellent doctor he's a very caring person. I wouldn't consider having any other cardiologist. He's a blessing to his profession.

The first appointment I didn’t have to wait that long to get in, the staff was very friendly so as the Doctor. After my visit, Dr Abreo remanded an echocardiogram. After that he found out my heart aortic valve is severely malfunctioning and urge me to be hospitalized for a valve replacement. He standby at the HCA hospital at Clear Lake until my procedure was successfully completed. What amazing Doctor and human being? I recommend this Doctor to everyone who need help in cardiology fields.
