Dr. Bridges has been taking care of me and my whole family for years and years! I absolutely adore him! He never misses anything! He listens to you carefully, asks great questions, helps you understand your issues and puts you in charge of decision-making! After nearly two weeks of pain from an injury I realized I need to see a doctor as it was affecting my work. They were able to fit me in that day. Very quick to get me x rayed . Dr. Evan Baker found I had a fracture and I was given a treatment plan. All members of the faculty were fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Baker was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable and a good listener. Thank you everyone at the clinic for your help!

Dr. Evan Bridges is very professional, attentive listener and provided me expert care for my problem. I have been to many podiatrists over the years and he was exemplary. This was my first orthopedic surgery and it went very well. Dr. Evans and the staff at South Texas Foot specialist work very well as a team. The post op care was seamless. In addition, I never experienced any delays at the office. If anything I was taken in early. I highly recommend Dr. Bridges.

The office staff from the receptionist, medical assistant and doctor made the visit very enjoyable under the circumstances. Getting an appointment with a specialist is very difficult process and usually several months later, but I was able to get an appointment within one week of my call?? The doctor took the time to answer my questions & explain in great detail of my toe injury and made sure that I understood the procedure which was recommended to be taken care of at that moment & not days, weeks or months later so refreshing & a complete surprise when your expecting to reschedule for a later date. Highly highly recommend this doctor & his office.

The staff is exceptionally helpful. They make you feel like you are the only patient they are seeking. Dr. Bridges is very personable and thorough. He talks to you and is interested in you.

Dr. Bridges did surgery on my left foot last year, And I’m having surgery on my right foot in October of this year I would go to NO one else, but Dr. Bridges.. HE IS THE MOST GENTLE INFORMATIVE, CARRYING LISTENING, UNDERSTANDING DOCTOR THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.. I jokingly say it’s too bad that I only have 2 feet..lol And I cannot say enough wonderful things about his staff. They treat me as if I was family or a best friend. They are so kind and understanding of any office staff that I’ve had interactions with. They are very knowledgeable and answer all my questions with patience.

Dr. Bridges and his entire staff are great. I have left posts before. Post surgery, I can say that so far my pain in my foot is gone. I still have to wear a boot for 3 weeks which beats the heck out of that knee scooter. In office visit Dr. Bridges flexed my foot and it feels great. I’m sure that I will have other posts in the future but for now my opinion stands. I highly recommend Dr. Bridges and his staff for anyone that is having any trouble with their feet. Easy to get appointments, friendliest and most caring nurses, great doctor, waiting time to get into a room very minimal, very clean office

Dr. Bridges is the best. I was hesitant to go to a podiatrist because friends of mine strongly discouraged it; instead recommending an orthopedic surgeon. One person who strongly advised against it was actually an OR nurse with lots orthopedic experience. But I had a good gut feeling about Dr. Bridges based on my appointments and also personally knew other who had great results with him. Dr. Bridges completely fixed what an orthopedic surgeon failed to fix eight years ago. I had bunion surgery in 2017, but the bunion quickly came back because the joint was unstable and the bones shifted back. The hardware from that surgery was also noticeable by touch and it hurt with pressure from shoes. Dr. Bridges used a completely different technique, removed the old hardware, and replaced it with streamlined titanium hardware that I can neither see nor feel. I have no pain from the new hardware. I’m about six months post-op and everything has healed according to plan. Another huge difference was the recovery protocol. Dr. Bridges was very precise and intentional about every step of recovery. I was in a boot for a significant period of time and used a scooter to protect the correction. The orthopedic surgeon never put me in a boot at all—only a surgical shoe—and never had me use a scooter. The difference between the two approaches was night and day. I love the way my foot looks now. The calluses that had built up over years of walking incorrectly are gone. I’ll be having my other foot done in a few months and can’t wait! I can’t recommend Dr. Bridges and his staff enough, especially Misty and Kristi in the office!

Dr. Bridges is wonderful. He takes his time to explain things in a way that you understand. He also listens to what you have to say, he is never in a rush, trying to get to another patient. The office staff and the nurse make you feel very comfortable and very one is very friendly. Some of my family and friends and myself having been going to Dr Bridges for a while now. I highly recommend him. PS Even my sister from Georgia and my sister-in-law from Chicago have gone to see Dr. Bridges. They are so impressed by him and his staff that they have made Dr. Bridges, the number one doctor to see for any of their foot problems.

Medical assistant, Amanda, professional and explained what needed explaining also human and good humored, Doctor Bridges explained X-rays and option concerning my condition. All options were presented and I was able to give my input on all of them. Doc also human and good humored and not rushed. Over all good experience this was my first visit.

For starters, Doctors are great!! I’ve seen Dr. Sands and Dr. Bridges. Both awesome. Wait time not awesome but I’ll be optimistic and choose to believe that their attention to patient care is the reason wait time can be longer than anticipated which is a positive! Appointment at 10am, arrived at 9:52am, this is a follow up check, ..... still in waiting room 10:23.....seated 10:35.... Dr in the room at 10:45 and done and in my truck at 10:51. 6 minutes with Dr. and scheduling next appointment. Pet peeve, dislike the “don’t tap on glass” in front of the frosted glass at reception. It’s not very welcoming. :)

Dr Bridges is great knows what he is doing, service was great not just the doctor, but his whole staff. Very professional group of people. When I say this doctor does a great job, im not just saying it. I have had multiple surgeries nit from him, and this was the best in all my life. I can honestly say no pain after surgery it's been 6 weeks and no pain, great results.

From the font office staff to the nurse and the doctor my experience was great. I was seen promptly and my visit went as expected. I have much respect for Dr Bridges and I value his opinion as it relates to my care.

Very kind and informative doctor

I came to Dr. Bridges for a fractured toe. He came highly recommended from a friend who had used him for surgery she had on a broken foot. The front desk staff is very friendly and Dr. Bridges was thorough and opted for trying a surgery free approach to healing at first. He could have just jumped right to surgery but said let's try this first before we sign you up for a painful surgery and recovery. I'm happy to say that 7 weeks later I'm almost 100% healed and no surgery needed. I'll recommend Dr. Bridges to anyone who needs a foot specialist!

He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He listens and offers very good advise on how to best proceed. He is conservative in his approach- instead of just offering meds or surgery, he will try other methods to correct the issue if possible.

Dr. Bridges is wonderful! I had my foot surgery one week ago (bunion and bunionette). When I went back today for my one week check up, everything looked great and minimal bruising and swelling. I am also very pleased with Amanda, the nurse. She has answered my questions, returned my calls, has been honest, helpful and gentle every step of the way. I also can’t say enough wonderful things about the front desk, Kristie and Misty. Kristie answered questions for me as well. If she didn’t know the answer, she would find out the answer and call me back. I am having another foot surgery (bunion) on my other foot in 10 weeks, and I would not let anyone else touch my foot other than Dr. Bridges and Amanda. I highly recommend this foot doctor and his competent staff.

I usually like to wait a while before leaving a quote. I have been to.office only 3-4 times. My original doctor left private practice. Dr. Even Bridges and his staff have been ever so courteous compassionate, and extremely timely. Dr. Bridges is not quick to do surgery on things that could improve with a bit of personal care. I had a Tailors bunion fixed by my previous doctor. Dr. Bridges started with me in the healing process. He is incredibly knowledgeable on supplements, vitamins, and different food items that would boost my healing. The appointment also showed I had broken part of that bone. So he suggested some things I could do that would aid in the healing. You can tell Dr. Bridges know more than most doctors would offer. The women that work in the office are all superb! Fast with information, efficient, always have joyous smiles and jovial attitudes. I suggest them highly. I would.send my own family to this office as well as anyone else. I have that.much confidence in this office.

My daughter was postponing treatment for an ingrown toenail because her treatment at foot and ankle specialist on gulf freeway was so painful. Dr. Canlas at SOuTH TEXAS FOOT SPECIALIST was so wonderful that she smiled and chatted through whole procedure! He was very patient slowly administered pain injection so, that the medication could do it’s job and there was no pain during the shots or the procedure. I can not recommend him enough and am so thankful she is his patient!

Incredible experience. The medical professionalism of the staff is absolutely on point. They're kind, thorough and willing to help patients by working with them. Let me start by saying I never leave reviews but Dr. Evan Bridges deserves 10 stars. I am so pleased with his care. I went in with an ingrown toe nail with complications and he took care of me. He has an excellent bedside manner, he’s very professional, caring and his staff is also excellent. He took the time to hear my concerns and explained everything to me. I am not a person that is easily pleased or impressed and Dr. Bridges exceeded my expectations. There needs to be more doctors like him. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.
