I have never had a problem with office staff, so I do not understand the negative comments. Apparently things have changed. Fabulous physician extremely caring and always goes the extra mile for the patient. They really don't make doctors like this anymore. Compassionate, extremely smart. highly invested in patients outcomes and really superb physician and man. I would recommend to anyone needing a great endocrinologist that takes the time to figure out a challenging patient. I am a very complex patient and have been seeing him for two years. I always leave feeling like I was listened to and never frustrated. Also they are highly organized, always have my labs before the visit. Refills are done at time of visit after labs are reviewed and lab work slip is given for the next visit with a complete summary of the visit. I drive from the other side of town and past the med center to see Dr. Chang that should speak volumes.

Saw Dr Chang and am thoroughly pleased. He took the time to explain how the carb ration works on my insulin pump and showed me how to make adjustments if necessary. He also explained why it was necessary to chart my blood sugars any time changes are made. The fact the he takes to time to explain things is enough to keep me as a patient.

I waited an hour to get into my appointment. HOWEVER, I really like Dr Chang. Straight shooter. He actively listens. How novel is THAT! And no unnecessary appointments to give you your results, just a phone call. Staff were exceedingly nice and VERY willing to help.

I honestly owe this man a great deal and their isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel gratitude for the excellent medical care he has provided to me for the past 6 years. I had been to many doctors foe several years that dismissed my failing health to the natural aging process. After thorough testing and research he diagnosed me with adrenal cushing's disease. A very rare disease. I believe that had I not met Doctor Chang I would certainly be dead several years ago because I was deteriorating so fast. He has been incredible every step of the way. Dr, Chang listens to me and is always concerned about anything I bring to his attention and never fails to provide the proper attention. There have been several times that he has even called me at home at night because he has found something in my blood test that concerned him and he made changes in my medication, Even back in the days when he was having a many test conducted on me he went so far as to call me at home late at night to inform me that he found that I had cushing disease. He has ALWAYS worked with me on medications, Labs, etc. We have been in the room for half an hour before just talking about my medical issues. He is always professional and nice and will even laugh with you. This man has called me on a Sunday before to discuss lab results with me. How many doctors so you know that will call you on a Sunday? Every team member is friendly. I noted extreme patience without effort illustrated by front desk as the women helped a man fill out a form and assisted a new hire. There was a line. She was kind and proficient. Care was given to each person in the most expedient manner. The nurse to Dr. Chang was thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. Chang is a popular doctor because he's well informed, intelligent, respectful, and sincerely cares about patient's care. I observed him in the hallway when another patient stopped to ask an additional question. He stopped and gave the women a clear answer and made sure she left any other questions. The attentiveness of the entire office is not reflecting how busy each person was. The office was full but managed expertly.

I’m posting for my Husband Douglas S. Our decision to go to Dr. Chang years ago in place of our regular internal medicine for his diabetes was the best decision we ever made! My husband had a 12 A1C and Dr. Chang was able to get it down to 6 in mo time and has kept him level. He gets labs every quarter and there is no problem scheduling labs as they are in the same building as the doctor. The office always returns our calls in a timely manner. Dr. Chang is very personable. The only complaint we would have is the office is pretty busy, but it moves fast. Thank you Dr. Chang!

Seeing Dr. Chang for almost ten years. He is caring and very knowledgeable in the area of diabetes. He advised me with the latest medications and treatment options and has helped me to bring my A1c to 6.5 or less.

Had a video visit, other than the 25 wait it went very well. The app they have for telemedicine is one of the better ones other providers have used.

I was referred to Dr. Chang by my OBGYN for gestational diabetes management. I find Dr. Chang really easy to talk to. He has answered all of my questions, referred me out to a diabetic class to learn as much as I could, and has stayed up with my pregnancy. I've never waited more than 15 minutes to be seen. I have nothing but positive experiences with him and would definitely recommend him. The accounting office for them is a joke. I've placed at least six calls in the last month and she's yet to return a single one. I don't owe them any money, in fact they owe me refunds, but it is literally impossible to get a call back. If you stop in their office, they all look at your like your interrupting them, they tell you they'll call you back, and they never do. Also, I agree with the previous poster. The building is really dirty. The public restroom is disgusting, built up dirt and grime. The visit rooms seem clean, but whoever manages the entire building's cleaning, is lacking.

I visited Dr. Chang office through my PIP's referral as the specialist who can look into my thyroid masses for cancer concern. I've had first consultation, then FNA (fine needle aspiration) and follow-up visit. Dr. Chang was very warm, attentive and helpful. He did not mind spending extra time to explain things to ease my concerns. He did the FNA procedure himself instead letting the med tech doing it. After results came back, his office called me to answer questions and concerns. I asked additional questions and they came back the next day with detailed information. I am very happy with Dr. Chang and his office. Everything was top-notch and you walked away feeling satisfied and rewarded. I strongly recommend Dr. Chang to everyone who happens to be needing his specialty. A 5 star!
