I haven't had a personal care physician in several years because I haven't felt the physicians I've encountered were truly invested in my health and physical well being. Now I'm happy to say my search is over. I was recently seen by Dr. Amer, who was kind, caring, and patient. With this physician, I felt like my healthcare concerns were addressed, and she went into detail after my examination. She was thorough in explaining the necessary treatment and why she felt it was my best option. FOLLOW UP: I have continued to see Dr. AMER because of her nurse who is wonderful: returns calls, responsive, timely and helpful. I believe in 2nd chances. Things have gotten better with Dr. Amer who has addressed my concerns. She is a pleasant physician, always available and the office is never crowded or requires long wait time. FIRST VISIT: The location is new. The doctor seemed new as well. I was a new patient and thought she would inquire about my family and medical history, she did not. I was offered to do my annual physical which was open your mouth, breath in and out and go do labs at Quest. I said I recently had abdominal pain, that was ignored. As she exited the room her child was at the door. I got a sense of dissatisfaction and like she was not a personable physician who got detailed with her patients. She did a lot of suggesting to see other specialist and was honest about her abilities

Friendly staff. My first time with Dr Amer as I am new to Sugar Land. I really can't make a full assessment on her based on only one visit but I truly feel confident with her. She's attentive friendly and thorough. I go for my 3 month checkup in May.

Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in her diagnosis and treatment, but I have never met such a doctor who goes so much above and beyond to follow up and spend time with her patients. Discussing my issues with the doctor seemed like a breeze...she is also very transparent, which I appreciated! Her staff, Ms. Zeba, was very polite and extremely courteous to converse with. Amazing service! Quick and easy. Staff was super friendly and quick. They did all my test in time and give me a call whenever my result where ready. Other places I call wouldn’t even take my call, I didn’t need an appointment and i was in an out in less than 20 min.
